About

The Millennial Mayors Congress is an initiative to engage metro Detroit's future leaders and enhance cooperation among the current ones. Participating cities will be represented by their mayor and a resident "Millennial," or young adult aged approximately 18-30.These representatives will work together to develop an action agenda to address an economic, social or environmental issue of regional significance, paying particular attention to challenges of New Economy significance. Agendas will be adopted by consensus decision and executed at the local level, in the way that best fits each community. The Millennial Mayors Congress will convene for the first time this spring.
